We are currently looking for a Business Manager to join our high performing team at Tilbury Construction Materials and Aggregates Terminal, Tilbury, Essex.

Main Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Area Operations Manager you will lead the site management team at Tilbury 2. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Leading the Operations team and overseeing production daily and for mentoring and coaching team members to develop their capability
  • Ensuring compliance of Health and Safety policies and procedures on site at all times
  • Ensuring quality of works is maintained at all times
  • Developing an operational strategy which considers the development of people, the improvement and development of operational assets and the impact of technology on operational practises
  • Working closely with the Technical and Commercial teams to ensure company performance is maximised
  • Driving results within the Operational team

The Ideal Candidate

As a successful candidate, you should be able to demonstrate proven senior management experience gained within a large / multi-site construction, manufacturing or heavy-industry environment.

The key to your success will be your exceptional communication skills. As an influential and persuasive leader, you will have a successful track record in managing, developing, motivating, and inspiring both direct reports and people in your wider organisation to cultivate strong, engaged, and competent teams.
