We are currently looking for a Site Manager to join and lead the team based at Swains Park, Derbyshire.

Main Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager – Packed Cements, you will be working closely with our Supply Chain, Sales and Logistics teams. The Site Manager will be accountable for the health and safety of all site staff, site compliance, budgetary control, planning of production and all matters relating to cementitious and kiln dried sand supply from the site.

In this role, you will supervise and manage approximately 30 employees working up to three shifts on two plants. The role requires close liaison with suppliers and internal stakeholders, as well as the management team at the Eaton Hall Quarry, to meet the budget objectives and KPI’s.

This role requires flexibility to ensure effective running of the plant. This may involve, when and if required, night working, weekend and Bank holidays supervision and being on call if necessary.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate relevant previous management skills, have experience of managing a function or team in a results-orientated environment. Desirable would be an excellent knowledge of production and despatch operations in similar environment with a good awareness of safety, quality and environmental issues and legislation

  • NEBOSH / IOSH
