We are currently looking for an experienced Plant Shipping Coordinator to join our friendly team in Buxton.

Main Responsibilities

In the role of Plant Shipping Coordinator you will be responsible for: 

  • Planning and co-ordinating contact for hauliers and external contractors to ensure the effective planning of shipping of products from mortar plants

  • Act as product hub ensuring a customer first focus whilst optimising profitability and maintaining key systems to achieve this

  • Support local plant management to focus on operational and commercial excellence in delivering profitable material solutions to the customer

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for the role of Plant Shipping Coordinator will have experience of:

  • Working in a manufacturing environment

  • Planning haulage / production / plant outage schedules

  • Dealing directly with customers

  • Working with Microsoft package

  • Issue resolution / customer management

  • Negotiation and customer influencing
