Benefits Advisor
Tarmac provides sustainable solutions for construction projects across the UK, supporting infrastructure development nationwide. From providing raw materials to expert contracting services, we are the go-to supplier for any building and construction solutions.
We're currently looking to recruit a Benefits Advisor to join our Reward team.
This role operates across the whole of the business and ensures that the Tarmac benefit arrangements are operated on a consistent and efficient basis across all of the business units and the central functions.
This is a Fixed term contract expected to last one year.
Main responsibilities
In this role you'll:
- Ensure that all routine benefits matters are operated in an efficient and compliant manner at all times
- Act as a key relationship contact with all third party benefit providers
- Act as a first point of contact for current and former employees with benefits related queries
- Assume day to day administration responsibility in respect of all areas of employee benefit provision
- Be the first point of contact for employees, internal stakeholders and third party advisers with respect to routine enquiries
- Be responsible for the collation of data in respect of the annual events relating to areas of responsibility
- Monitor adherence to associated policies and processes by key internal stakeholders (HR, Payroll, HR Services)
- Monitor 3rd party advisers adherence to agreed SLAs
- Support various voluntary benefit provisions
Experience & qualifications
To be successful in this role you'll need:
- Experience of operating various benefit arrangements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – a high degree of accuracy combined with the ability to present information in an engaging way for a wide range of stakeholders
- To be able to deal with senior stakeholders in a confident and fluent manner.
- To be organised and methodical – delivery driven
- Employee benefit technical knowledge
- To be IT Literate - Word Excel, Project, Powerpoint etc
- Stakeholder Management experience
- The ability to deliver qualitative outputs efficiently
- Effective communication skills
