We are currently looking for a qualified Production Administrator to join our friendly team based in Bristol (BS48 3QD) Here at Tarmac, we are working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it’s important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds.

Main Responsibilities

As an administrator you will be providing both clerical and administrative support to professionals, either as part of a team or individually. You will be involved with the coordination, implementation and communication of procedures and you will frequently have responsibility for specific projects and tasks.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Check and process operative timesheets on a daily basis in line with business cut off periods
  • Supporting and coordinating where necessary the organisation of training courses as required
  • Raise purchase order requisitions and goods receipt on receipt of invoice 
  • Completion of administration tasks within a reasonable timeframe
  • Processing area transactional data accurately and in line with requirements
  • Updating various departmental spreadsheets with information as and when it is available to maintain control on ownership, cost and utilisation
  • Provide assistance with production of presentations, documents, reports and general correspondence where required
  • Coordinate meetings including room allocation and catering requirements, preparing agendas and organising action logs

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience as an Administrator or previous proven experience of organisation and planning
  • Team working skills with the ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with colleagues
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • IT skills including high level of competence with the Microsoft packages
  • Experience with SAP is desirable
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities
