We are currently looking for a Supervisor to join our fantastic team.

Main Responsibilities

As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for: 

  • Leading a Packed Products team, developing and mentoring team members in line with the training matrix requirements for the whole site.  

  • Delivery of site briefings and toolbox talks.  

  • Managing all aspects of daily production, ensuring efficient manufacture and optimum levels of OEE are maintained, driving operational performance through KPI’s for the whole site..  

  • Ensuring that housekeeping standards are maintained in accordance with What Good Looks Like (WGLL) for the whole site.  

  • Demonstrating an exemplary approach to Health and Safety, contributing proactively to a safe working environment and policing mandatory behaviours and processes on site. Working collaboratively to build a culture of continuous improvement for the whole site  

  • Taking pride in all work completed and being determined to succeed  

  • Managing contractors to ensure compliance with site specific rules are adhered to at all times (Safe System of Work / RA's etc) for the whole site  

  • Involvement in employee relation procedures & investigations when required.  

  • Ensuring that OLM and PPM is planned and carried out inline with the production plan  

  • Monitor and ensure that critical parts are available at all times   

The Ideal Candidate

Our people come from a variety of different backgrounds and prior experience isn’t always necessary for success. This following transferable skills and qualifications are beneficial in this role: 

  • Working knowledge of HSE / IOSH Working Safely  

  • Knowledge of risk assessments and Safe Systems of Work Systems   

  • Customer focus  

  • Willingness to learn and develop 

  • Operational Experience  

  • Licences (mobile plant)  

  • Manual Handling  

  • Good communication skills
