Assistant Project Manager

We are currently looking for an Assistant Project Manager experienced with Road Surfacing to join our team on the M25 project at Tarmac. You would be based out of our Snodland office, ME6 5PJ.

Main Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Project Manager you will lead an operational team to deliver projects as part of our M25 contract (road surfacing) and gain experience and development opportunities to allow progression within our business. Other responsibilities include: 

• Managing Health and Safety and wellbeing  

• People management 

• Coordinating with partners, contractors and clients 

• Overseeing and ensuring quality 

• Working as part of a community 

• Financial reporting 

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role you will have experience of Road Surfacing. You will have: 

• Experience of managing a team 

• Good knowledge of Health and Safety policies and procedures 

• Excellent communication skills 

• Experience of dealing with stakeholders of varying seniority levels both internally and externally 

• Organisational skills 

• Ability to work under pressure
