We are currently looking for a Ready Mix Plant Supervisor to join our team at Hayes Ready-mix Plant, UB3 3LZ.  We’re working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it’s important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds. 

Main Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Plant. You will also be responsible for: 

  • Delivering exceptional SHE standards and performance, optimizing the production process and delivering a first class customer service 

  • Supervising the onsite team 

  • Overseeing the operations strategy of your site and will also instil a culture of health and safety best practice by driving a culture of SHE continuous improvement 

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role the ideal candidate will have experience with a similar working environment. They will also: 

  • Have experience and knowledge of Ready Mix operations 

  • Have strong leadership and people management skills 

  • Have a proven track record of driving SHE and operational KPI’s (essential) 

  • Have attained an NVQ Level 4 and a relevant IOSH qualification (which would be advantageous but not essential) 

  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills 

  • Be able to work independently but also as a team 

  • Be motivated 

  • Be flexible in their working approach
