We are currently recruiting Brick Cutting Operative to join our friendly team at our Linford Block Plant, which is located close to Stanford-le-Hope in Essex this will be working 24/4 shift pattern (Mon to Thursday) 

The site is easily accessible from Tilbury, Gravesend, Rochester, Gillingham, Dartford, Purfleet on Thames, Grays, Wickford, Southend-on-Sea, Basildon, Brentwood, Billericay and the surrounding areas.

Main Responsibilities

In the role of Brick Cutting Operative, you will be responsible for: 

  • Meeting daily production target requirements
  • Reporting of data for quality purposes
  • Moving, loading and unloading product from the plant and vehicles
  • Meeting customer service requirements in terms of accurate loading and timely vehicle turnaround
  • Continuous Improvement of performance standards
  • Continuous improvement towards plant and production methods
  • Good housekeeping

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate previous experience of working within an industrial or similar environment as a Fork Lift Truck Operative, Multi-Skilled Operative or Labourer. However, the experience of working in a team, good communication skills and a willingness to learn are more important as full training can be provided.
